This is an excellent tutorial for beginners.
Good tutorial, but only if you are an absolute beginner on HTMl and CSS .
Excellent tutorial no doubt, just a point though, I feel w3schools should be removed from part 3 of the tutorial due to it’s inaccuracies of information. Or at lease, state a warning that it’s information isn’t highly accurate and users should do some cross checking.
got this from FFOM and tried the sample code on IE8 , and found that it did not work for me. I did have to add the html5shiv to get it to work, not sure why this was not part of the tutorial??
Al

I loved the tutorial but I wish there was a follow up tutorial or intermediate tutorial. After doing one I wanted to learn more.
thanks
Not sure if this is a problem on my end or not, but I’m going to assume that it’s a problem with the tutorial files, which I’ll explain here. I downloaded the file, opened up Part 1 in Firefox 6.0.1, and it looks like it has no stylesheet attached to it whatsoever, minus the styling that’s contained within the of the document. I right clicked the page, clicked “View Source”, then clicked on the stylesheet, which led me to an empty stylesheet on Envato’s CDN . You may want to look into this, as well as the title of the tutorial. It’s showing up as “Generating PDF files with PHP ”. I haven’t looked for any other errors, as that’s not the point of downloading this tutorial set, but I figured I’d at least point these problems out to you.
Other than that, great tutorial set, and I believe I speak for everyone when I say that it’s much appreciated of you to release these for free for this month’s FFOM !
I would like to make one suggestion though, and that’s simply based on the fact that this is a year old. You might want to consider taking a quick run through this tutorial set, and try updating a few of the things to more relevant information conforming to today’s standards (namely your links to updated browsers and articles). Just a thought, anyways
