I am an absolute coding beginner. I cannot understand half the coding/keyboarding concepts that the author covers with lightning fast speed and without explanation.

The video began seconds into the author speaking… So I have no idea what information I missed.

Before you can wrap your mind around one concept, he is opening up a drop down menu and explaining some other coding function and he doesn’t explain how he accesses the menus or windows. He speaks very fast and low with a British accent and the audio on this video sucks vastly. I cranked it up as far as it would go on my Macbook and I still could barely hear him. This was a very frustrating experience. I am presently looking for some other instruction on Text Mate.

Suggestion to the Author:

I get your point that you want people to do things quickly on the keyboard, BUT , when you are teaching someone new concepts, that is the last thing that YOU should be doing!

Check out the video tutorials of Nick Pettit from “Think Vitamin”. That guy has a gift of explanation,of enunciation, and of speaking at a decent rate of speed .
